The “Victorinox Swiss Army Midnite Minichamp Pocket Knife” is truly a wonder of miniaturization! Coming in at roughly 2″ long, the knife attaches unobtrusively to my keyring.
The tools on this swiss army knife really do not lose much effectiveness despite their small size. I find the VERY SHARP knife, magnetized philips head screwdriver, practical (really!) scissors, and the bright red LED to be very handy. The built in pen has been a useful thing as well, but I try to not use it too much since replacing it might be difficult. The high quality and solid construction should make this little knife last for years.
Just a side note about the red LED light, this is useful for stargazers and other folks who do work at night. White lights affect your night vision, while red lights do not.
Highly recommended! I might have to order more since my wife and my son keep eying up mine!

This knife makes anyone’s life easier. Buy it now, because you can’t go wrong with it!
My wife gave me one of these a couple of years ago, and I can’t go a day without it. I use it all the time. At work, I use it to cut open the tape on boxes, use the scissors to cut excess threads on buttons and the hairs that the barber missed, use the Phillips driver to get at computer parts (it has a magnetic tip, which is really nice), the pen to cross items off the grocery list. The uses go on and on. A great thing to have in your pocket, and it is tiny for the amount of utility it affords. If it had a white flashlight instead of red, I would have given it 5/5. The red light is its biggest shortcoming, which is still pretty minor.

This is perfection! same size (handles)as the Classic, but thicker due to all the tools. DO NOT buy Leatherman small tools or any other small multi tool, they do not compare to this in quality, or usefulness!!! Victorinox quality is second to none. i have Classics on all my key chains, and larger Victorinox knives for camping or whatever else. The minichamp is my favorite, i dont leave home without it and if i do i turn around and go back and get it.

I had the standard Minichamp for a number of years and loved it up until the day I dropped it down a pipe at work. Best tool I ever bought myself. You’d be surprised the number of times a day you end up using the thing. About the only feature I didn’t have much need for were the tweezers, but now the Midnite version solves this problem by replacing the tweezers with an LED light. Although it’s not powerful enough for long range illumination, it’s great for up-close lighting. For me, it’s now more useful than ever!
